Royal Horticultural Society show, December 2008, Gold Medal
Exhibiting at the Royal Horticultural Society show in December 2008, Sue was awarded a gold medal for a body of work on the genus Arisaema. Sue was fascinated by the group of unusual plants and showed various stages of the plants opening from the bulb with developing roots through the different stages of the leaves unfurling and the spathe changing and opening.
The exhibition consisted of four graphite drawings and five watercolour paintings covering four different species”.
